The Australia Bushfires

In Byron Bay, we are working with our partner Bangalow Koalas and the local community to restore vital ‘koala corridors’ that have been destroyed. Our goal is to plant 250,000 eucalyptus trees by 2025 in order to provide koalas with a safe passage between fragmented habitats. This work is more vital than ever in the aftermath of the 2019-2020 bushfire season, where landscapes were decimated by fires. By securing and restoring these tree corridors, we can provide koalas and other wildlife with a safe space to not only survive, but thrive.
