This transboundary conservation area lies in the Zambezi Valley, which is used by wildlife as a thoroughfare between the escarpment and the Zambezi River. Measuring 17 745km², the Lower Zambezi-Mana Pools TFCA is composed of the Lower Zambezi National Park (4,092 km²) in Zambia, and the Mana Pools National Park in northern Zimbabwe (2,196 km²).
