RELEASE OF FIVE RED-AND-GREEN MACAWS IN IBERÁ ...
By Rewilding Argentina - July 01, 2022
Paprika, Ají, Ginger, Cinnamon, and Curry are the five new inhabitants of the Portal Yerbalito forest of Iberá Park. Here, one of the largest forest areas of Iberá suffered the effects of recent wildfires, but these five great seed dispersers are new allies who will speed up its recovery after being set free in a “progressive” release. The “big red” once again colors Ibera’s skies, contributing to the ecosystem’s functionality and the surrounding communities’ prosperity.
