A new paper is calling for a permanent & independent Indigenous-led global funding mechanism to support efforts for “protecting all life” (enhancing biodiversity conservation, effectively responding to the impacts of climate change, and halting of desertification). I think this is a good example of why Indigenous Human Rights and self-determination x Environmental Protection, is in fact all about "protecting all life".
